[The Voice function on the journal starts up, but instead of Shiemi's voice it's Rin's:]

Ossu. It's me, Rin -- I lost my journal a while ago and I still haven't find the thing. 'M using Shiemi's just for a bit to make sure anyone who doesn't know, knows. [...] Uh, I can't really keep using this, so if you wanna come talk meet me at House 15?

[Action]
[People can find Shiemi doing one of two things today:

1) In the sky people can see Shiemi practicing with her now very large (now full grown at five feet and seven inches) skarmory. She'll stand on her Pokémon's back as if she were surfing, ride on its back like it's a horse, or - this one has her particularly frightened - practice falling. Shiemi stands up, lets herself fall backwards off of Skarmy, and then Skarmy swoops back around to catch her. Honestly they hope never to put the skill to use for real, but they might have to use it.

2) After they're done the duo go back to the house (#15) to rest. Shiemi treats Skarmy to some spicy foods, and while the large bird starts preening its feathers... some steel feathers fall off! Skarmy is has started molting, and leaving large, sharp metal feathers everywhere. Oops!]

[And of course, Red is watching as soon as he sees it happening! It's always fun to see people training with their pokemon, after all! Especially in exercises like this. Plus, you can never be too careful, right?

Though after a bit, he'll finally yell up.]

[She recognizes that voice! Though the sudden yelling shocks her, and she steers both Skarmy and herself into a tree. Because of her pokémon's sharp feathers a many of the tree's branches get sliced off and fall from the plant. Confused, Skarmy pops her head up from the top leaves of the tree to look around. Meanwhile Shiemi is stuck on a low hanging branch and hanging from her clothes. Though the position looks a bit precarious she is less concerned and more... well, swirly-eyed.]

[WELL SHIT. He wasn't expecting that to happen at all! He'll run on over, quickly bringing out Saur. Probably the best choice for getting someone unstuck, really.]

Help her down, Saur!

[Since yeah, vines are handy for this sort of thing. Of course, Saur will do his best to clear the branches and hoist her down slowly, placing her gently on the ground.]

H-Hey, you alright? [And of course, yelling the same up to Skarmory too. Way to go, Red...]

[ Meanwhile, Hilda is sitting on the back of her Sawsbuck and watching the two with great interest. It looks like a lot of fun and it's making her wish she had her Archeops with her in Luceti so she could do the same. ]

Hey, you there! On the Skarmory! [ She waves her arm, trying to catch Shiemi's attention. ]

[Shiemi's not sure what to make of the voice she doesn't recognize calling out to her, so she ends up looking around for a source... thus not paying attention, slipping on Skarmy's smooth back, and falling off. The two aren't too far up off the ground at this point, and Skarmy doesn't have enough time/room to swoop back around to catch Shiemi. Lucky the fall isn't too bad. It's about as dangerous as jumping off a small shed. All in all the blonde will probably just have a bruise and a couple scrapes.

Skarmy lands next to Shiemi, and looks over to Hilda. "Was that your fault?"]

[ Hilda realizes a second too late that she should've waited until they were done flying instead of yelling like an idiot. She pulls herself off her deer Pokémon, rushing over to Shiemi and her Pokémon. ]

Oh my gosh, are you okay? I didn't mean for that to happen...!

[ Sawsbuck doesn't move an inch, instead opting to stare and quietly judge Shiemi for her failure. ]

[This phoenix is flying by and just widens in shock. First a metal bird. What? Then the woman is apparently suicidal! Marco speeds into a dive to try to cut off the distance between the ground and sky, but luckily the metal bird catches her? Okay that's still weird. And can't be comfortable.]

Uh.... You okay?

[Shiemi yelps, lurches forward, and grabs onto Skarmy's neck.]

Y-yes!? [There is. A bird. Talking to her.]

[A bird that appears to be on fire with blue flames no less.]

That was a pretty impressive trick, eh!

[Spock, on his way back home from the Dome, stops to witness the rather grand demonstration in the air...
Fascinating..]

[Their form isn't perfect. Turbulence in the air and being only slightly experienced makes it so they don't look too impressive. In fact because of this one of their moves ends up being pretty low to the ground, and they pass by Spock. They're far enough away from him so he isn't hurt, but from where Shiemi is it looks like they almost clipped him.

Shiemi and Skarmy land a few feet away so she can come and apologize for the near miss.] S-s-s-sir I'm so sorry!

[Later that day House 15 will have a mermaid flitting back and forth in front of it, at a complete loss for what to do. She heard Rin say he'd lost his journal, and she wants to offer to help him find it. But having lived a majority of her life locked up in a tower, certain social graces escape her.

Like how someone tells a person inside a house that they're outside the house and want to see them. Does she just walk in? That seems a little rude. Yell really loud? That seems even more so.

Eventually someone will come home, or feel the need to leave, right? Right?]

[Action]

[Shiemi and Skarmy round the corner of the house (they've been circling the place). Shiemi has her hands full, and is picking up discarded metal feathers that Skarmy is leaving around. In fact it looks like a vicious cycle of the more they walk, the more Skarmy molts, the more Shiemi has to pick up. However the blonde stops to look at the guest fretting in front of the house.]

[Akane can't help but be amazed by what she's seeing here. It's really like she's in a fantasy world, and it's still kind of hard for her to believe it.

When she sees Shiemi doing her trick with her steel bird(?), she can't help but clap. That is pretty amazing.]

[Soon enough they land, and Shiemi slides of her skarmory. Confused she looks at the other girl who is clapping.]

Is that... for us?

[Even if Pascal has no idea where this trail of metal pointy things came from there's no way she's just leaving them on the ground for any old person to pick up. They could be used for all sorts of cool things! Time to follow the metal feather trail and pick up as many feathers as she can carry.

She's doing a pretty good job of hauling all these feather around, right up until she accidentally cuts her finger while picking one up. This leads to her flinching and dropping her feather haul with an almighty clatter.]

Awh shoot, I spent forever grabbin' all those!

[Behinds Pascal looms the large silhouette of a bird. To be honest it could be very ominous...

If not for the smiling girl riding on it's back.]

[As luck would have it, Emil looks up just in time to see Shiemi fall off the Skarmory and... promptly freaks out, not realizing that she's practicing something.]

H-hey, watch out!

[After Skarmy catches the girl Shiemi signals the pokémon to land. They touch the ground not too far away from Emil, and she walks up to him (with her skarmory close behind).]

Did you say something?

[Caius drops by house 15 later in the day to say hello and offer to help Rin look for his journal. Maybe see if he wants to hang out or something. So yup, knocking on the front door right now!

If he doesn't get an answer soon then he'll try letting himself in. Sure he's used to low temperatures but like he wants to stand out in all the cold and ice if he can help it.]

[Rin is in the kitchen. Well, "kitchen" - in this house set up the non-bedrooms are basically one continuous room. But he's in there and the reason he didn't get the door is because his hands are full of raw meat. Specifically ground beef, which he's working into patties-

When the door opens though-] Oi- [And he glances back] Did Shiemi let you in? [Cool, cool. He was expecting that]

[Unsurprisingly, Izumo isn't really going to be polite about all these metal feathers being dropped everywhere.]

D-don't worry! I am! You haven't stepped on one have you?

[She's actually trying to pile them up in one spot like leaves, but since they're sharp she can only handle a few at a time.]

Hey Shiemi, Skarmy! [He's coming on outside. He sort of planned for them to come back in the house,but he's finished cooking two things for them. He's got a tray - five burgers on it (one for himself, one for Izumo if she stops by, three for Shiemi ... He'll take her third if she doesn't want three) and a bowl of spiced ground beef mixed with some nuts for Skarmy)] I got food!

[Skarmy was napping, but picks her head up, and rushes over to Rin. Shiemi runs over as well, but Skarmy makes it to the boy first. In fact the large bird starts nudging him immediately for the food.]

Rin! Thank you!
