[The Voice function on the journal starts up, but instead of Shiemi's voice it's Rin's:]

Ossu. It's me, Rin -- I lost my journal a while ago and I still haven't find the thing. 'M using Shiemi's just for a bit to make sure anyone who doesn't know, knows. [...] Uh, I can't really keep using this, so if you wanna come talk meet me at House 15?

[Action]
[People can find Shiemi doing one of two things today:

1) In the sky people can see Shiemi practicing with her now very large (now full grown at five feet and seven inches) skarmory. She'll stand on her Pokémon's back as if she were surfing, ride on its back like it's a horse, or - this one has her particularly frightened - practice falling. Shiemi stands up, lets herself fall backwards off of Skarmy, and then Skarmy swoops back around to catch her. Honestly they hope never to put the skill to use for real, but they might have to use it.

2) After they're done the duo go back to the house (#15) to rest. Shiemi treats Skarmy to some spicy foods, and while the large bird starts preening its feathers... some steel feathers fall off! Skarmy is has started molting, and leaving large, sharp metal feathers everywhere. Oops!]

I... I might have to keep Skarmy in her pokeball more...

Yes please! [Just boil some water and add a teabag that will make a cider type drink. Should be fine. Shiemi will tell Skarmy what a messy eater she is while Rin is gone.]

[Wow he can't read minds. But he will make that anyway because it makes sense that he would make this anyway. So that for her, some paper-towels (actually he just brings a roll) and then a big glass of water for him]

[When Rin returns outside Shiemi is trying to deter Skarmy from chewing on the siding of the house. It's not working.]

Sh-she's chewing on the house! I read it's a normal bird thing, but-

[But it's their house.]

[O...kay, let's go gentle for now, he walks over towards Skarmy with the stuff still in hand and-] Oi, Skarmy, maybe you should bite a tree instead.

[Skarmy pulls away from the house to give him a look. why should she? Shiemi is a little nervous this won't end well.]

I dunno if you're teething or what [

Rin, she's not teething...

[What's wrong with biting the house? It's partly hers, right? Plus, chewing feels nice.]

Then what's she up to? [it looks like teething to him]

Well... I read in a book birds like to chew things because it feels good to them. Usually pet birds get toys to chew on, but we don't have any that would be good for Skarmy.

[rashness]

She still can't chew on the house though, that'll just look bad! We have to get her a log or something.
