This post is for threading with Shiemi anytime and anywhere. It can be used for Action or the Ring feature on journals to get in contact with her for personal conversations.

I still feel guilty. It was hard on you up there, wasn't it?

[What if she had let him freeze? What if she had killed him - like her grandmother? The thought makes her queasy.]

[He falls silent for a few minutes. It's true, it was hard staying up there. One particular word catches his interest and it's guilt. Shu always feels guilty for everything he does.

Shiemi is actually very similar to him. He's starting to realize it now and he doesn't think it's a good thing.]

It was hard for you too.

Ah, but I was the one who put us up there in the first place.

I owed you a favor so now we're even.

Are... you sure?

I'm sure. [He smiles and reaches out to shake her hand.]

[She reaches out, but before she takes his hand.]

Are we still friends?

We'll be friends for life.

[He means that too.]

[She inhales sharply and pulls her hand back. Her eyes grow wide, and begin to shine as tears well up in the corners of her eyes.]

After- after all that?

I wouldn't have said it if I didn't mean it. [He sounds sure as well. This quote may have been inspired by Gai.

Shiemi gave him another chance, so why can't he do the same for her?]

[She holds her face in her hands, and quickly closes any distance between them. Quickly she rests her forehead on his chest, and sobs loudly.]

Thank you, thank you! I'm sorry.

[He pats her on the head to calm her down. ]

You don't have to thank me that much. [Eventually he decides that he'll let Shiemi apologize to him as much as she wants. It might make her feel better.]

N-no, I should! You're too kind, I- I made you go through so much and you still want to be friends. F-f-for so long. Thank you.

Don't worry. [He offers her words of comfort.]

Keep your chin up, Shiemi. You're fine. Can you show me a smile?

[She sniffs, and wipes away her tears.]

A-ah, I'll try! Is... is this enough? [Her expression is a little twisted because she's trying to smile, but also trying not to cry as much anymore.]

[A nod.]

Thank you, Shiemi. [She's really trying and he can tell. Shiemi deserves some thanks for that.]

C-can I make it up to you?

[What could she even do to make it up to him?]

You already have.

[He did ask Shiemi to smile and that's all he really wants to see from her. There's no way he can ask her to do more.]

No, really I should-

Do you mind plants?

[Shiemi's really determined to make it up to him. He just smiles to that and shakes his head.]

No, I don't mind them. I've taken quite a liking to them myself, actually. Certain plants and herbs can be turned into useful medicine.

Then- then hold on!

[She'll leave, and quickly returns with a potted plant in her hand. It's a bit bush like, but bright pink blossoms hang from it's "vines." She brings to him a bleeding heart plant. He bared his heart to her, now she'll try and do the same for him. Kind of.]

Mmhmm! All my plants I've raised from seedlings.

It looks nice. Does this plant have a name?

[Just curious because it's too cute to not have a name.]

It's called the Bleeding Heart, but I've named it Alice.
