[A small blond teen in a new feather dress climbs out of the fountain, soaked from the knees down. She scrambles to get away and ends up running through the village a little before slipping and having a giant fall. This fall knocks her journal open. The recording was pressed on by accident, and the book is upside down so there is no picture. There is only:]

I'm okay. [If he say he won't hurt her, she'll believe him. She tries to stand. The girl is a little wobbly, but she makes it up.] And what's a Smurf?

[Well he won't quite be grabbing her arm to keep her stable, but he's hovering nearby just in case.]

It's a long story. And you're going to freeze out here. Come on, let's get you inside, yeah? [The clothing store is near, so he'll guide her there.]

[She nods and follows. What a good idea!] Thank you so much!

Don't mention it. I'm Kurt.

[Okay, let's just step inside and out of the wind. At least it's heated inside.]

Moriyama Shiemi. [She puts out her hand to shake his.] It's a pleasure to meet you, Kurt!

Likewise! [Hope she's okay with a three fingered handshake.] Ah, should I call you Moriyama or Shiemi?

[It's so very strange! And honestly she stares at his hand as they shake, but the girl quickly sends a smile his way when they finish.]

Shiemi is fine!

Shiemi, then. Got it.

[Well, one handshake later and they're among the clothes racks. So...]

Well. Anyway, you should ahhh, probably pick out something real quick. [Because. Well. A wet New Feather dress tends to be a bad combination.]

O-oh! Right! [Quickly she flips through the racks quickly, not even paying attention to most of the clothes. She's wondering if her uniform is in there. If a friend is to recognize her, it'll be easier in that.]

[Welp. He'll stay over here by that door and keep himself out of trouble by looking at... belts.]

[Ah-ha! Found it! She enthusiastically rips school uniform off the rack. The hanger clangs loudly against it, though, and she shrinks just a bit before walking over to Kurt.]

Is there a place I could change?

[Oh, he glances back at her, wincing at the loud noise, and then points to the back.]

There's a changing room back there. I'll wait here, so take your time!

[With a smile and nod the girl heads off to change into her school uniform. A collared t-shirt, skirt, and thigh-high socks don't seem like a good choice for this weather, but that's what she has on when she leaves the room.]

[Indeed not. Kurt frowns as she starts walking back. He decides to head towards her, redirecting her to the coats.]

You should get something nice and warm too, yeah? I don't know what month it was for you before, but it's November here and the winters get cold.

But I don't want to take someone else's clothes. What if they come looking for them?

Oh, right. Don't worry about it! They're all free and not all of them belong to people.

You're sure? [Shiemi hesitantly flips through a couple jackets, unsure if she should take one.]

Of course I'm sure! Just pick one you like! The newer it looks, the less likely it belongs to someone, right?

Right! [With a sort of renewed confidence Shiemi looks for a coat on the racks. Without supervision she ends up picking up something like this. It's shiny, so it must be new right??]
