[Shiemi returns from her kidnapping a little different. She'll be dressed like a hot topic reject from 2007. You know, casual goth. Here is her outfit, but with the cold weather she has added a red mesh sleeved shirt under her corset top, ripped red leggings under her skirt, and a red leather jacket with ridiculous pointy studs on the shoulders. On the back of the jacket are the initials "I.M."

Today she's causing trouble for the convenience store. She'll be trashing the place, trying to scare away customers, and shake down the staff to try and make it her "HQ." And thus sparks the return of the "villainous" alter ego of Shiemi, "The Iron Maiden." With her is her Skarmory Pokémon that she'll be using to help her intimidate people.]

[All Emil wanted was a Slurpee, really. Just a little something to sip on after a long shift at the tea house, nothing more than that.

He most certainly wasn't looking for trouble, much less trouble coming from someone like...]

... Shiemi? What are you doing?

[She smiles at him with the same soft smile that Shiemi normally wears.

The only difference is that under her heel is a broken ceramic cup.]

Clearing a space for my new place, of course!

[The cup goes unnoticed for the moment-- it's a small enough thing that Emil can easily rationalize it as her not noticing that it's there. The outfit, however, is hard to ignore. But he's too polite to comment on it... yet.]

Your new place? What do you mean? Are you working here now?

[Her hands rest on her hips, and she smirks at him.]

Working here? I suppose you could say that.

[In the background there's a large crash of Skarmy knocking over a whole display.]

[Emil smiles a little, looking more at ease with her answer.

... until Skarmy knocks over the display, that is.]

-- h-hey, Skarmy, be careful! Maybe you should go back outside before you knock anything else over...

Oh no, she's helping me. I have to clear this space.

[This is just getting more and more confusing.]

By knocking things over? Shouldn't you just move them instead?

This is faster. The end result doesn't need those things intact.

... I feel like I'm missing something here.

I still don't get it. Why are you doing that? What's wrong with the store the way it is?

[He likes the convenience store. :(]

Because it's going to be used for something else.

You aren't acting like yourself at all. And you aren't dressed like you normally do, either. Are you sure you're feeling all right?

[Don't mind him just sort of peering at her. She LOOKS okay, aside from the strange outfit...]

[It's so out of character for Shiemi that that's all Emil can come up with in response. He's too surprised to really process it.]

[She leans her face close to his, and grins.]

Aren't you more fitted to be a sidekick anyway?

[Automatically Emil takes a step back, looking more than a little uncomfortable at the invasion into his personal space.]

H-hey, what are you talking about? What does that have to do with anything?

If you want you can be my sidekick.

What? No! I mean, it's nothing against you or anything, but I don't really want to be anyone's sidekick. I'd rather just be me instead.

Oh, really? Then maybe you should leave.

[No need to tell him twice-- he's already starting to back up.]

This is some kind of Shift, isn't it? The Shiemi I know would never act like this. She's kind and sweet and never wants to cause trouble for anyone.

I'm not causing trouble. And how can you say this face isn't sweet?
