[It's been a while since that flop of a Pool Party which was supposed to grab a roommate or two. Perhaps it's time for a second try. Though the theme of this party will be different considering the season.]

Ah, it's felt a bit tense around here hasn't it? Hello, Luceti! I was wondering, what kind of things would you like to see at a bonfire party? I don't know a lot about this kind of parties, but I'd really like to host one! And my friend Kurt said a Halloween party might be fun. That means costumes, right? Rin and I will also be giving tours of the house!

[Later on one can probably find her rummaging around the item shop and grocer for supplies. She doesn't intend to have it until a week or two from now, but looking around can't hurt! On the way home she'll be wearing this. Feel free to heckle her about it.]

Won't the chocolate melt and make a mess?

Oh, no, we're not cooking the chocolate-- just the marshmallow.

[And he turns on one of the burners, picking up a metal skewer that he'd set out on the counter.]

Here, could you hand me one of the marshmallows?

[Shiemi reaches into the bag of stuff, and opens the container of marshmallows. She plucks out one, and hands it over to Emil. Watching curiously here.]

Thanks.

[He takes it and sticks it onto the end of the skewer, then holds it out over the flame from the burner.]

See, you want to roast it over the fire like this. Some people like letting it catch on fire so it gets kind of charred, and some people just like making it a little melty. It all depends on how you want it.

How do you like it?

[She's not looking at Emil. Instead she has her focus on the marshmallow as the flame slowly cooks it.]

I like it with just a little tiny burnt part at the ends.

[And to demonstrate, he lets the marshmallow catch on fire for just a moment before blowing it out.]

Just like that.

C-can I try it?

Sure! Here...

[He takes another marshmallow, sticks it on the end of another skewer, then hands it to Shiemi.]

Be careful not to hold it too close to the flames unless you like it really charred.

[Shiemi holds the marshmallow a decent distance away so she can look over to Emil to chat some more.]

And what about the other stuff? Like the chocolate?

You just take the chocolate and the graham cracker and make a sandwich with the marshmallow, like this.

[He's getting out a piece of chocolate and a graham cracker as he says this. First he breaks the graham cracker in half, then places the piece of chocolate on the bottom half, then the marshmallow on top. Finally, he puts the other half of the graham cracker atop it like a miniature sandwich and holds it up.]

See? The chocolate will melt a little since the marshmallow is so warm, so it gets all nice and gooey.

Wow, that's really smart! I wonder who thought of that first.

[Here she is being inattentive to her own marshmallow. Now flaming.]

[Good thing Emil spots that flaming marshmallow.]

H-hey, Shiemi! Your marshmallow is on fire!

[She looks at her toasting marshmallow, and sure enough it's ablaze. Panicking she starts to fumble the skewer, and the flaming treat is waved around precariously.]

Careful, don't wave it around--! Blow on it to put it out!

Eh!? [Um- OKAY SHE GOT THIS. Quickly she huffs and puffs trying to blow it out. It takes a couple tries.]

That one may be a little too charred to eat...

[She nods in agreement.] It smells.

Let's try it again with another marshmallow and not let that one catch on fire.

Right, um... what do I do with this one?

Just hold it a little above the flame and keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't catch on fire. You don't even have to let it touch the fire itself-- it'll get warm enough as long as you're holding it close to it.

A-ha, I meant what do I do with the burnt one?

Oh... we can just throw it out if you don't want to eat it.

Okay! [She nods twice, and looks around for a trash can.]

Over here.

[He pulls it out from under the sink and holds it up so that she can dump the marshmallow in.]

[She holds the skewer over the trashcan, and scraps it on their to force the marshmallow off. Afterwards she goes to the sink to clean off the skewer.]

Sorry... I hope I didn't make your place smell too bad.
