❀ 6th Weed in the Garden - Action ❀

[Shiemi had returned earlier in the day. When she opened her journal she found Silver's entry, and it was the first thing she responded to. However en route to meet him something strange happened to her body.

She transformed into a small hedgehog-like creature with grass on its back and flowers growing from it's body. Embarrassed and scared of her own body, Shiemi fled. Now she's running around the village trying to escape to a safe place to figure out what happened. She's extremely tiny, so don't step on her! Feel free to talk to, or pick her up. However be warned she'll eventually feel the need to flee again. Until that time, though, who wants to play with a Shaymin?]

[At her safe distance, Raven watches the little animal eat the cherries. She's almost smiling. It's kind of cute.

When the fruit is gone she'll open her hand, where she hid a few. Just to see if it will come to her.]

[The shaymin is torn. She wants to put more distance between herself and her chaser, but she can't be rude. Refusing the offer without being able to apologize would feel awful. Slowly the creature approaches Raven to eat the cherries offered.]

[Oh.

Raven glances quickly to either side of herself before smiling at the shaymin. No one's around to see it. More the better.

And with her other hand, she'll gently try to pet it. A small part of her wants to see if that fur really does feel like grass. The rest just thinks this is a most friendly and adorable monster and there's nothing wrong with being kind to it.]

[...This is actually really nice! The shaymin coos a bit, and smiles. She can't help it, even if she wanted to.]

[Hah. If she could she might even...laugh very quietly. Instead there's just a soft exhale or three. You're an affectionate little monster, aren't you? One who likes cherries, at that. No reason to stop petting it.]

[Shiemi was thinking about taking off after eating the fruit, but a small food coma sets in. Fine, she'll settle here a little longer. At least she knows Raven won't put her in a Pokéball.]

[Oh. It's falling asleep? She wouldn't feel right about just leaving it to sleep on the ground where something could happen to it. What Raven will do is carefully pick up the sedgehog and let it sit on her lap instead - three feet away on a bench.]

[Curling up a bit in her lap, the shaymin's eyelids begin to grow heavy. They close as she makes a small, contented sound.]

[This time she's smiling for real, almost not caring if someone notices. Things like this just hammer home the point to her that people are a lot harder to deal with. Raven doesn't mind a little time spent sitting quietly in the sun, petting a lawn hedgehog while it sleeps.

It's peaceful and uncomplicated. She hadn't needed to say anything.]

[After a while Shiemi stretches, and stands. She should probably get going. If Silver found her she'd die of embarrassment.]

[Oh. It's awake.

Skritches. And maybe the softest and scratchiest whispered "Hey."]

[...Skritches. The Pokémon leans into that, and coos a bit.]

[After enough thought about it, Raven has decided that this is one of Silver's monsters, like Sneasel. It just happens to be one she's never seen before. One finger gently traces the petals of its flower.]

[Shiemi shivers. It's not that she doesn't like it, but she should probably take off before Silver catches up. The shaymin darts off of Raven's lap. Before she leaves completely she looks back.]

[What she will see in a fleeting moment is Raven looking absolutely crushed. Even the small friendly monsters run away.

Then she goes back to just looking sour and like she wants to be alone.]
