[When the note appears upon the page it looks like it was written by a hand that was possibly trembling in fear. When read it says:]

[When people arrive there they'll find a blond teen. She's looking around nervously, trying to determine from the crowd who she pestered over the event. Shiemi trembles with her hands gripping her knees, and shoulders hunched a bit. Oh dear she wasn't ready for this yet! But it's been so long. She has to do this.]

I did some bad things, and... and people deserve an apology.

[That just prompts a dramatic sigh from Gold.]

...Listen, your friends know you're not like that normally. They're not gonna hold it against you. And if they did? Well, they need to get over themselves, then, 'cause there's way more important things in life to worry about than holdin' a grudge over somethin' like that.

[That all does sound right, but it doesn't stop her from feeling guilty.]

[She puffs her cheeks at a little in frustration. "I just do," isn't a real answer and she knows it. But... Since she hasn't been through many experiments she doesn't have the confidence to call him out on it.]

...Not buyin' it, huh? Then how about this? I know because I've been in this place long enough to know the people of Luceti aren't nearly so petty.

[Okay, that's more believable.]

Even so they still deserve an apology from someone. I can't just ignore what happened.

Apologize all your want. Just remember that no one's really gonna care what you did. It's all water under the bridge! Like I said, if they're actually gonna hold it against you, they need to get over themselves!

[She sees (almost) what you're trying to do. To cheer her up a little, right? Make her not worry so much over people who she thinks are mad at her. Or maybe Gold is just telling it how it is. Either way she wants to apologize. The apologies make her feel better about what she did, too.]
